About Me
Hi, my name is Jorge Narvaez. I'm an illustrator who enjoys recreating old video game assets from the 80s to 90s into vector illustrations. Vector graphics offer potentially low complexity and flexibility. Therefore, simplifying the process of animating with motion graphics. I also enjoy creating illustrations with historic elements because it requires research into the past for styles and context.
I have always liked to create things with my hands, including customizing shoes. Customizing led me to rip shoes apart and rebuild them using new materials. While doing so, I learned vector programs to create patterns, embroideries, and graphics. There were many mistakes along the way, which required me to think of unusual solutions and not give up.
In my free time, I like to quilt backpacks and go rollerblading. Hang out with my three dogs and birds.
